Asahi Takumar 6 Lens Prime Set

This is a cine-modded lens kit from Asahi, the brand that later became Pentax, also known under the name of Takumars.

Takumars are extremely nice in image processing. With a clean look yet still with a lot of character, the lenses create a smooth, sharp, and organic image with soft very pleasing bokeh on modern super-sharp digital sensors. They are flattering on skin tones. Their image circle covers full frame sensors.

Asahi used radioactive Thorium oxide in the production of optical glass in several Takumars.
